Murakami Photography began in the spring of 2002; Karen, one of Teri's friends was getting
married and couldn't find a wedding photographer she felt comfortable with.
Teri and David had photographed Karen and Glen's engagement party (as guests!) and Karen
asked if they would like to photograph their wedding. It was the start of the
rollercoaster ride that today finds David and Teri photographing weddings and events all
over Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset (and occasionally much further afield).
The last 6 years has seen Teri and David grow as photographers and in their relationship.
Attending seminars with and mentoring under some of the worlds leading award winning wedding photographers,
they believe there is always more to learn and that is what drives them to produce better and better images.
The success of their approach is difficult to condense into a few short sentences; it's
as much to do with their passion for capturing the real emotion of an unrepeatable event as
it is their dedication to creating beautiful natural romantic portraits.
Fast, friendly and unobtrusive in their work they capture the excitement and romance of
the wedding day with their creative vision translating to beautiful albums that rekindle a lifetime of memories.

David's passing qualification panel for the Master Photographers Association was featured as a double page
spread in the March 2008 MPA magazine. His panel is also 'on tour' and will be shown all around the UK in
talks given by the MPA to photographers who wish to become qualified.
