Milinda & Louise Canford School Dorset
Venue Canford School,
Canford Magna, Near Wimborne Minster in Dorset.
Canford School Manor stands in fine parkland beside the River Stour just outside
Wimborne in Dorset. The ancient buildings and fine surroundings lend themselves to many
private events and make the venue in demand for wedding receptions.
The day began with David and I splitting up, him to meet with Milinda and the Grooms Party
at the Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth and me to meet up with Louise and capture
preparation images of her, her two bridesmaids and parents all getting ready.
The church ceremony was at St Marks church near Bournemouth University in Talbot Woods.
The church is a beautiful old building with a stunning contemporary stained glass
window which shines beautiful soft light for photographing the ceremony and also
makes a wonderful backdrop for the recessional and just about any shots
from the back of the church.
After the cermony the wedding party made their way to Canford School. The grand hall
and oak staircase are works of art and though quite dimly lit we we able to use the
stairwell for group images and beautiful portraits of the couple.
It was great getting to know Milinda and Louise and their families. St Marks Church and
Wimborne's Canford Magna School are great venues for Wedding photography, we couldn't have asked for more.
